| The mission of A2 Charter School is to provide a unique, authentic, self-directed educational experience for fourth and fifth grade high-achieving students who require a challenging learning environment and fast paced instruction focused on higher-order thinking. A2 offers integrated learning experiences that specifically address the needs of learners who achieve more when working with students of like ability on tasks and problems that require critical thinking, gathering and analyzing information from a variety of sources, and creating new, higher level understandings, solutions, and products. | As a result of their experiences at A2, students will become advocates for their unique educational needs. They will be academically motivated and intellectually curious and have a wide range of interests that involve them in a varied array of significant activities and leadership positions both in and out of school. They will embrace their role as productive citizens contributing their time and talents to the enhancement of their own lives and those of their families, friends, and the community as a whole. |
