Caesar's English

English, as well as the Romance Languages, traces its origins to the

Roman Empire and ancient Latin.

"Latin's a dead language,

As dead as it can be.

It killed off all the Romans

And now it's killing me."

While this may have been the lament of generations of students, research shows that for every Latin stem a student masters, as many as 40 English words are learned in the process.

Using high level, compelling activities, students at A2 delve into the language of Caesar and build their own vocabulary and reading comprehension skills in the process.
