January 2017 - The Wellness Council of America, with local affiliate Wellness Council of Wisconsin, recently presented its coveted GOLD Well Workplace Award to the Sheboygan Area School District (SASD). SASD offers wellness benefits to over 1100 employees and their families. The Gold Well Workplace Award recognizes an organization for its commitment to the health and well-being of their employees.

December 2016 - The Sheboygan Area School District was one of only 16 school districts nationwide to receive a Carol M. White Physical Education Program (PEP) grant, receiving a grant totaling $1,438,038.

SASD Teachers Attend Summer Math Institute
Last week, 40 teachers from across the Sheboygan Area School District attended a weeklong institute hosted by the Wisconsin Statewide Mathematics Initiative (WSMI). Classroom teachers, English Language Learner (ELL) and Special Education teachers, as well as interventionists and data coaches participated in the math institute.
