As part of a larger school accountability system in Wisconsin, each public school will receive a report card with an accountability index score from 0-100. The report cards will be based on multiple factors:
The accountability system applies to all public schools, including charter schools, and takes effect with new school report cards released in October 2012 that will be based on 2011-12 student performance. It’s important to note that the 0 to 100 accountability index score is not a “percent correct” measurement, similar to a score a child might earn on a test in school. Instead, in combination with other school data, the accountability index score will help our school staff determine what areas we do well in and where we need improvement. The goal is to help every student in our school succeed, graduate, and be ready to pursue further education and a career. Additional information:
Questions about the school report cards can be directed to the school principal or to the SASD Director of Instruction at (920) 459-6429.
