Each semester, the Sheboygan Area School District is home to many college students working toward their teaching licenses by participating in pre-teaching experiences. We are proud that many of our past graduates and local college students can work side-by-side with our highly qualified teachers to prepare for careers in teaching.The Sheboygan Area School District accepts college students for the following pre-teaching experiences:
All requests for student placements in the Sheboygan Area School District are handled through the Department of Human Resources. The request must be in writing from the placement office.
The District tries to honor all requests; however, the student teacher demand is sometimes greater than the number of teachers willing and able to accept a student placement. For this reason, we may only accept ten (10) requests per semester from each college/university.
To request student placement, the placement coordinator from the college must contact:

The coordinator will be contacted once the placement is complete. The coordinator is then responsible for informing the student about the placement.
