Points of Pride

Families who choose Cleveland Elementary School have a lot to be proud of in their school.

Here are some of the school's proudest achievements:

  • Cleveland Elementary has an outstanding level of parent support and involvement!

  • Cleveland Elementary benefits from the great level of support from the Cleveland community, through donations, fundraisers and volunteer time. Organizations, including the Cleveland Athletic Club, VFW Women’s Auxiliary, Police Department, Cleveland Lions, Cleveland Fish and Game, Snowhawks snowmobile club, and the Elk Club, donate books, supplies or other items for our school. They also participate in special presentations or events, such as the bike safety program.

  • Cleveland fifth graders have created commercials that have aired on Time Warner cable. Two years in a row, finalists have been chosen from Cleveland Elementary for the Hang Tough Against Drugs and Alcohol video contest.

  • Natalie Meiselwitz named the national first prize winner of the Jackie Robinson breaking barriers essay contest when she was a student here.

  • Over 75% of Cleveland teachers hold a Master’s degree or higher (2007-08 WINSS data)
