Cooper School Kicks Off Positive Behavior Program
Cooper Elementary School kicked off the school year with a new program called Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, which schools commonly refer to as PBIS. The students rotated to different locations throughout the school to learn what positive behavior looks like at Cooper Elementary School. Cooper Elementary School wants students to be respectful, responsible, and safe. The Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program will continue throughout the year to remind and reward students who demonstrate positive behavior at school.
Mrs. Torrenson, school guidance counselor, begins the PBIS Kick-off with an all school assembly explaining what it looks like to be safe, responsible and respectful at Cooper Elementary School.
