The course offerings at the Étude High School for the Arts and Academics can be divided into three separate categories: Academic Courses, Arts Seminar Courses and Arts Infused Courses. Below is an overview for each of course categories.

Arts Seminar Courses
Description: The arts seminar courses are quarter-long courses that focus in on a specific aspect of creative writing, dance, drama, music or visual arts. All art forms are offered each quarter. The intent of the Arts Seminar Courses is to provide students the opportunity to learn aspects of other art forms in short segments.
For a complete listing of courses, please see the SASD Course Description Guide or download the Étude High School Course Description Guide.
Arts Infused Courses
Description: The Arts Infused Courses are project-based courses that require students to develop projects with the purpose of integrating academic content with the arts. During the Freshman and Sophomore Arts Infused Foundations Course, students rotate through creative writing, dance, drama, music and visual arts. Students also do short-term projects integrating the arts and academics. The purpose of this is to give students a basic understanding of all the art forms and how to communicate ideas through them.
The Arts Infused Course is for Juniors and Seniors. In this course, students create a semester-long project that integrates one art form with one academic area. Students present their project to the public at the end of each semester.
