Present: Carra Lyn Kolar, Adam Binder, Jill Wetzel, Todd DeBruin, Jenny McClellan, Lynn Larsen
Absent: Ron Chase, Hannah Royston, Patty Guenther, Amanda Bartelt, Lori Molitor
1. Review Site Team Planning and decision making template
b. Decision making template Approved. Site Team planning document will be reviewed in December. Further discussion will occur regarding the level of student involvement on Site.
c. Adam will look into how students are involved at other schools and share in Dec.
2. Scheduled for 2013-14
a. Reviewed schedule from scheduling committee
c. Site team would like to be “kept in the loop” on how the intervention time will be utilized.
d. Site team would like opportunity to provide feedback
3. Parent Meeting in January
a. This meeting may be moved to a later date.
b. More choice for parents in terms of selecting schools within SASD. Need to re-think how we offer parent orientation
b. Site team would like feedback on how to make this night for more meaningful for parents and to make adjustments for changes that are occurring above.
c. Carra-Lyn will talk to Allied Arts and Jill will ask 6th grade for feedback. Other areas may want to provide feedback/ideas too.
d. This will be discussed at the Dec. meeting
e. The focus of the evening needs to stay on parents.
4. Next meeting is Dec. 6th at 4pm in Guidance office

*Discussed desire to include two student reps. from each grade level to participate on Site Team
*Self-nominating form will be created for students/will be reviewed and approved by Site at next meeting
*Location and time/date of future meetings made (see above)
*Nominated Jill Wetzel as Note taker – seconded
*template will be finalized/approved at next Site Meeting
Site Based Decision Making Chart
*Site Team will make decisions regarding 1)Changes in time allocation for subjects and courses, 2)Major changes to the daily or weekly instructional schedule
Discussed scheduling parameters for the 12/13 school year (See attached document and plan)
*Site Team will review/may make adjustments to 1)Parent/teacher conference procedures, 2)Open House procedures
