Grant and ESSA Students Celebrate with Hmong Traditions
Under the direction of teachers Samantha Vang, Jean Kolb, and Education Assistant Jennifer Yang, students at Grant Elementary and the Elementary School for Arts and Academics were treated to a special program by the schools' Hmong students and friends, who dressed in traditional clothing. The Grant School Family learned about the different Hmong traditions, including ball tossing, dancing, singing, sewing story clothes, and gathering for family dinners.
