Site-Based Management
The Sheboygan Area School Distict employs the Site-Based Management System for all of its schools.  Jackson Elementary School fully embraces this philosophy.  The philosophy of the site-based process is to bring the decision-making process closer to those who will be affected by the decision.  Various teams and committees make decisions after gathering input from those that will be most affected by the decision.  The methods of decision-making are varied and will be dependent on the issue at hand and should promote a sense of community and pride in ownership within the school.  See flow chart for a visual representation of our total site-based management structure.
