Jackson Elementary and A2 Charter Schools are Setting the Stage for Learning
Jackson Elementary and A2 Charter School are proud to announce their theme this school year: Setting the Stage for Learning. The themed logo resembles a marquee-like movie sign.

Each month, Jackson and A2 will focus on a different character trait that falls under one of four behavioral expectations: responsible, respectful, safe, and productive. The traits by month are:
• Responsibility-September
• Fairness-October
• Honesty-November
• Generosity-December
• Respect-January
• Kindness-February
• Self-Control-March
• Cooperation-April
• Perseverance-May
The schools encourage students to exhibit the character trait of the month. When a staff member catches any student demonstrating the trait, the student will be given a ‘Top Hat yellow slip’ to enter into a prize drawing. This aligns with the schools’ Positive Behavior and Interventions Supports (PBIS) program as well. A handful of slips will be drawn each week and winners will choose a prize. Already, students are excited about the theme this year and are showing many positive character traits.
