- Jackson School is home to a very unique Magic Tree House Reading Center, funded entirely through donations and built by volunteers, which provides students a special place to enjoy books before and after school.
- Jackson welcomes pre-school students into the school several times per year to enjoy a fun-filled hour of stories, crafts and activities. The Pre-School Story Time takes place in the Magic Tree House Reading Center.
