Jefferson Elementary School's Above the Influence group presented activities to celebrate Red Ribbon Week (Oct. 27-29). The theme was "I've Got Better Things to Do."
Daily activities included public service announcements, hand pledges, spirit day, skits contest and guest speaker. Guest speaker, Deputy J.R. Fenner, spoke with students about making good choices.
Students participated in contests to promote making good choices. PreK4-first grade students had a coloring contest, grades 2-3 a website design contest, and grades 4-5 a Red Ribbon Week slogan contest.
