Jefferson Fifth Graders Visit Milwaukee Art Museum

The Jefferson Elementary fifth graders in Vicki Kulhanek's and Diane Moon's classes went on a field trip to the Milwaukee Art Museum recently. The students went on a docent-led tour to see a special exhibit of the work of artist, Andy Warhol. Included in the tour were some of the following highlights - the Janitor, the Egyptian Mummy, and Sunny the Dog.

The museum trip was an extension of the projects the students completed in their art classroom. The art project consisted of he students drawing Campbell Soup cans and painting them in complementary colors. Connie Berken, the student's art teacher, was responsible for planning and preparing the students for their art field trip.
