Jefferson Announces Geography Bee Winners
Jefferson Elementary School students participated in the school's preliminary geography bee classroom competitions in February to determine eight finalists. Those eight finalists recently competed in the final school-wide competition.
Tyler B., a 4th grader in Lynn Pekulik's classroom, took first place in the all-school competition. Second place went to 5th grader Vincent M., who is a student in Vicki Kulhanek's classroom.
The Jefferson School Geography Bee is sponsored each year by the PACE (Gifted & Talented) program and is open to all fourth and fifth grade teachers who wish their students to participate.
