Jefferson Positive Behavior Program Kick-Off

It was a great beginning to a new school year at Jefferson Elementary. Over 300 students, along with many of their parents, mingled about the playground on the first day of school.

A Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) kick-off was held for all the students and staff.  It was an enjoyable way to review the expectations so that everyone can be safe, respectful, and responsible at school.  The theme this school year is “Keep it Cool at School.”  All the students received freezer pops at the end of the day.
