Jefferson 5th Graders Explore the Sheboygan Marsh
On September 30 and October 1, 2012, Jefferson fifth graders attended their annual trip to the Sheboygan Marsh. One day is spent entirely in a canoe looking at life on the water. The second day is spent on land doing experiments to prove whether or not the Sheboygan Marsh is healthy.
After many tests and observations using the Scientific Method, it was determined that the Sheboygan Marsh is healthy and doing well. This trip is enrichment to our Ecosystems science unit.
