SPECIAL BULLETIN

The following vacancy exists in the Sheboygan Area School District. All interested persons shall make written application to the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources by 4:00 p.m. on June 30, 2014.                                  ELL/BILINGUAL GRADES K-5 (SPANISH) TEACHER
  
                                    GRANT AND JACKSON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be Wisconsin DPI certified in ESL Kindergarten - 5th grade and Bilingual Education (or have 12 or more credits toward Bilingual [Spanish] certification). Prefer additional certification in elementary education.
2. Experience working with bilingual students on either a pullout or in-class basis.
3. Additional content area certification preferred.
4. A minimum of five years of teaching experience.
5. Spanish speaking ability required.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work with students from multicultural backgrounds. Knowledge of instructional needs of students in an ELL school program. Willing to be part of a dynamic professional staff that is dedicated to providing a quality learning environment for every student. Successful experience working in a team teaching position. Experienced or ability to work in a self-contained classroom. Knowledgeable about methods of assessing student proficiency levels and capable of maintaining complete and accurate student records.
