Lincoln-Erdman Pair Complete Walking Challenge

Brothers Tyler and Trevor G, fifth grade students at Lincoln-Erdman Elementary School, are the first students to complete the 315-mile "Walk throughout Wisconsin "on the school's Lincoln-Erdman Environment and Fitness (LEEF) Trail. The LEEF Trail was created working together with the community to develop a half-mile walking path and fitness station on the school's campus.

Lincoln-Erdman staff encourages students to walk the half-mile-plus trail with the mission to "walk" to various cities in Wisconsin. The trail provides an alternative activity to sports and playground activities during recess, encouraging more students to be active. The boys received a certificate for their efforts, along with a certificate for a family meal at Culver's Restaurant. Both students' names have also been added to the school's LEEF Trail recognition wall.
