Staff members from the Boys and Girls Club organize activities during the lunch hour and also volunteer in classrooms throughout the school year.

Foster Grandparent Program

Fundraising
Longfellow School participates in a variety of fundraising programs, including Campbell's Soup Labels, Milk Caps, Target Take Charge of Education 
and Box Tops for Education .
Junior Achievement

Lunch Buddies
Lunch Buddies are adults from the community who are matched with a student at our school. They get together, on a weekly basis during the school year, during a lunch period to form a relationship based on the needs of the child.
Partners in Reading
Volunteers from the community work with students in the lower grade levels to foster a love of reading. Volunteers read with students one-on-one or in small groups to build confidence in our young readers.
