Longfellow Celebrates Read Across America with Guest Readers

Kindergarten class at Longfellow
The Kindergarten classes at Longfellow celebrated "Read Across America" by having guest readers read to students throughout the week. The classrooms also wrote letters to the Grinch, made digital pictures of themselves as the Cat in the Hat, played word family games with, Hop on Pop and Fox in Socks and wrote imaginary stories to Thing 1 and Thing 2. The ended the celebration by making Green Eggs and Ham that they gladly shared with all hungry staff.
