Five International Lakeland Students from Malawi, Africa visited James Madison School March 14-16. The Malawi students will graduate this May from Lakeland College and will be going back to Malawi after being away from their families for three years. Upon arriving home they will become leaders/principals of schools in Malawi, Africa.
During their three day visit at James Madison School, the students worked closely with principal Dr. Matt Driscoll and learned about the administration of an elementary school to include staffing, faculty evaluation, budgeting, committee work, scheduling, etc. The Malawi students also enjoyed visiting, working and sharing their Malawi Heritage with Madison students.
