Monarch Butterfly Release at James Madison Elementary
Mrs. Terry Urban and Mrs. Jenny Engels’ second grade classrooms began their Science unit on the living organism by reviewing the life cycle of the butterfly. Students compared the monarch butterfly to the painted lady butterfly they studied in first grade.
Principal Matt Driscoll hosted the release of three monarch butterflies.
