The Wilson School Student Council sells school supplies at the school store, which it operates each week. Advisors, Lisa Piper and Missy Krutzik, both fifth grade teachers, stated, "Since it's inception, profits from the school store have been used to purchase a variety of items the school could otherwise not afford with its limited budget."

Some of the recent profits were used to buy digital cameras, a scanner, and books for the school's library. Other items that were purchased include a portable boom box for the music room and wireless lapel microphones that can be used at the Student Council's talent show as well as other programs.

Besides operating the school store, the Student Council also holds special event days. One student, Rebecca, shared that she especially likes Funny Fridays." Her favorite Friday was Injury day where students could wear slings, bandages, casts, use crutches, etc. Another student, Cheyenne, added that her favorite Funny Friday is ‘Crazy Hair Day.' she said, "I like to spray my hair orange and blue and make it stick out all over."

In addition to the Wilson school community, the Student Council conducts annual food and clothing drives for the local food pantries.
