Cleveland and Montessori Schools Announce Geography Bee Winners
Cleveland Elementary School and the N.E.W. Montessori School held their
respective school Geography Bees on Friday, Jan. 15, 2010. This
competition was designed to get students excited about geography in
their classrooms, to spark student interest in the subject, and to
increase public awareness about geography.
The Cleveland School fourth and fifth grade classroom finalists were
Holden B., Abe O., McKenna L., Rebecca J., Ryan J., Emilie V., Tala G.,
and Natalie M.. Ryan J. earned first place in this year's Cleveland
School competition with Natalie M. coming in second.
The N.E.W. Montessori School had 17 participants. Samuel L. placed first with Abby H. coming in second place.
