Jackson and A2 Students Open Their Hearts and Wallets
The week of Valentine's Day, the Jackson Elementary School and A2
Charter School Student Council sponsored an "Open Your Heart" drive,
asking students to consider donating $1 to this fund. This fundraiser
was for a family at the school, whose younger sibling was recently
diagnosed with Leukemia. The family has had to make many trips to
Children's Hospital in Milwaukee for treatments and will continue doing
so.
A total of $200 was raised. The money was used to purchase a gas card, a grocery card, and restaurant gift cards. Sheboygan Area School District Press Release
