Cooper Elementary School staff recently hosted an evening of fun and family literacy during the school's tenth annual Bedtime Books event. Pajama-clad students in kindergarten through third grade, parents, grandparents, and family friends attended the event.
Larry Brahan, Cooper principal, welcomed guests who enjoyed milk and cookies while listening to a story read by the evening's guest speaker, Sheboygan Police Department Chief Christopher Domagalski.
During the event, several of the students took their sleeping bags, blankets, and stuffed animals with them as they rotated among the classrooms where they listened to bedtime stories read by Cooper staff members.
