Local Artist, Dale Knaak, Talks About Art at North
On Thursday, March 18, local artist, Dale Knaak, spoke at Sheboygan North High's Art Department Artist Lecture Series. The Artist Lecture Series is an in school program that invites local visual artists to share with the beginning, intermediate, and advanced art classes about their journey as artists. Visiting artists present and expose art students to a digital portfolio, actual artworks, and the opportunity to interact with the artists.
Knaak wrote, "Bicycling to and from my studio, I began seeking out new and different routes. I found myself plotting courses through the various alleys on my way to work. At some point I realized my fascination with these alternate paths to my daily destination. Sometimes going well out of my way to explore one I had not seen."
