North FCCLA State Winners Going to National Competition
Sheboygan North High School Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) students all received medals at the State FCCLA Star Events Competition that was held April 6-8. Three North students were crowned state champions in their respective categories, qualifying them to compete this summer at the National Star Event Competition in Chicago. The students who will compete in the national competition are Gee Lee - Culinary Arts and Derek Klockow & Kyle Mares - Hospitality.  Kyle Mares, Gee Lee and Derek Klockow, who are pictured from left to right, were crowned state champions in their respective categories and now move on to the National Star Event Competition this summer in Chicago. Pa Kou Vang received a Gold medal in Fashion Design. All other North FCCLA members who competed at state received silver medals. Those winners are Hunter Lewis in Basic Food Production, Terminology and Mathematics; Mai Soua Chang, Rya Johnson and Dia Xiong in Pastries and Baked Goods; Megan Kunstman in Focus on Children; Pang Dao Vang and Mai Coua Yang in Recycle and Redesign.
