A2 Students Visit Spaceport
photo

The students from the A2 Charter School planned for their visit to Spaceport Sheboygan by designing a mission patch to be displayed and worn for the trip. Over one-fourth of the students created designs to represent the school and the importance of space travel. The winning patch, shown in the photo, included the A2 logo made into a rocket blasting off into space. Students who visited Spaceport Sheboygan during Rockets for Schools Week voted for their favorite patch. The winning patch was designed by a fifth grader at the A2 Charter School.

The A2 Charter School is a Sheboygan Area School District charter school for self-directed fourth and fifth graders. The school is housed at Jackson Elementary School, which is located at 2530 Weeden Creek Road in Sheboygan.
