North Athletic Teams to Hold a Variety of Clinics for Younger Students

Several North High School athletic teams are hosting clinics for younger students to develop their skills.

JV Dance Clinic for Grades K-5
The 2010 Sheboygan North High School JV Dance Team is sponsoring a Football Season 'Kiddie' Dance Clinic for students in grades K-5. Students will work with members of the North High JV Dance Team and learn jumps, turns, and kicks that are incorporated into a routine, which will be performed during halftime of the North High Freshman Football Game on Monday, September 27th.

Practices are scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, September 21st, 22nd, and 23rd from 4:30pm - 5:30pm in the Raider Gym. On Monday September 27th, participants are asked to report to the Raider Gym by 4:30pm

The cost for the clinic, which includes a set of pom pons, is $10. In advance or $15 at the door. Checks should be written payable to the North High Dance Team. For more information, visit the North High dance website.

Basketball Clinic for Boys Grades 5-8
Sheboygan Northstars is now accepting applications for the 2010-11 school year. Northstars is an opportunity for boys in grades 5 through 8 to play on select basketball teams while learning the fundamentals stressed by the Sheboygan North coaching staff. Northstars will sponsor teams at the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade levels provided there is enough interest. This is a combined winter/spring program. L'il Lady Raider Basketball Clinic for Girls Grades 1-5
This instructional clinic conducted by the Lady Raider basketball staff and players will focus on basic fundamental skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense. Players will be grouped according to age and the baskets will be lowered to accommodate the younger players. For more information, visit the North High girls basketball website.
