Jackson Elementary & A2 Charter School Looking for Great Character
Jackson Elementary School and the A2 Charter School recently announced their theme for the current school year. The chosen theme is I Spy Great Character.
Each month the students and staff will focus on a different character trait. Those traits listed by month are:
- September: Responsibility
- October: Honesty
- November: Cooperation
- December: Generosity
- January: Self-Control
- February: Respect
- March: Kindness
- April: Fairness
- May: Perseverance
Students are encouraged to exhibit the character trait of the month. When staff members observe any student demonstrating the trait of the month, the student will be given a yellow slip that they will then place in the fish bowl that is located in the office. Each month, at the schools' Top of the Line assembly, a select number of those yellow slips will be drawn. After the drawing, each winner will have a chance to choose his/her prize.
