The second grade class at Cleveland Elementary School recently explored spheres, runways, loops and spirals as part of their Balance and Motion science unit. Students constructed a long foam runway in the gym and released 50 marbles to prove, much like a roller coaster, the velocity of an object depends on starting high and finishing low.
