SASD High School Math Teams Earn Top Honors
Lakeland College held its annual high school mathematics meet on Monday, October 18. Ron Haas, Lakeland professor and organizer of the event, noted that this year's competition featured 35 different math teams with close to 270 contestants competing from schools throughout Sheboygan County. Haas also indicated that this meet is the largest high school competition of its kind in the state of Wisconsin. A team from Sheboygan North High School took top honors. Members of that team were:
Tony Johannes, North math teacher, stated that a team from North High has finished in first place 14 of the last 15 years. A team from Sheboygan South High School finished in second place. Members of that team were:
