Jackson-A2 "Souper" Bowl a Success
In preparation for the 100th day of school and the fact that the Green Bay Packers were headed to Super Bowl XLV, Jackson and A2 decided to have their own "Souper Bowl."
Each classroom was challenged to bring in 100 cans of soup the week prior to Super Bowl Sunday. If that goal was exceeded, the classroom with the highest count was eligible to win a prize.
Nancy Trimberger's second grade class won the ‘souper bowl' with a total of 180 cans of soup being donated. Kathy Nelesen's A2 classroom came in second with a count of 167, while Sandy Spatt's A2 classroom came in a close third with 166 cans of soup. More than 1300 cans of soup were collected for Sheboygan County food pantries.
