Urban Seventh Graders Learn from Rock Expert
 Students who are on Urban Middle School's Team 7-1 recently had a visit from Kevin Ponzio, an expert on rocks. The presentation on rocks and minerals was part of a culminating activity to the science unit on rocks. Ponzio discussed the different types of rocks and physical properties of minerals, focusing on the sources found in Wisconsin. Each student received a mineral sample to take home.
