Cooper Hosts Eleventh Annual Bedtime Books

The staff members of Cooper Elementary School recently hosted the school's eleventh annual Bedtime Books event. Bedtime Books is an evening set aside to promote fun and family literacy. Pajama-clad students in kindergarten through third grade, parents, grandparents, and family friends attended the event.

Cooper principal, Larry Brahan, welcomed guests as they enjoyed milk and cookies followed by a story read by the evening¹s guest speaker, Mary Valley, Sheboygan Area School District teacher and former Cooper staff member. Children carried sleeping bags, blankets, and stuffed animals as they rotated among classrooms and snuggled in to listen to bedtime stories read by Cooper staff members.

Mary Valley, SASD teacher and guest reader, speaks to Cooper students
and families about her love of books and the importance of books in her life
during the school's recent annual Bedtime Books event.
