Jefferson Kindergartners Celebrate Day of the Children
 El Día del Niños (The Day of the Children) is celebrated each year in Mexico. Kindergarten students at Jefferson Elementary School recently celebrated this holiday with a variety of activities reflecting Mexican culture. Parents joined their kindergarten students to sample Mexican food, make colorful flowers, read bilingual stories in English and Spanish, make bark paintings, open a piñata, and learn a traditional Mexican dance.
