Wilson Students Walk to Raise Money to Warm Others
Students at Wilson Elementary School participated in the fourth annual Junior Walk 4 Warmth on Saturday, November 17, 2012.  The fundraiser, organized by kindergarten teacher Andy Kautzer, helps people in Sheboygan with the cost of heating their homes in the winter.

On three consecutive Fridays leading up to the day of the walk, students wore warm scarves, sweatshirts, and socks and were given the opportunity to donate one dollar to the fund.  Students and families could gather pledges and participate in the walk on Saturday.

This year, the students raised a total of $1,170.06. The program is administrated by Wisconsin Public Service and is completely anonymous.
