James Madison Elementary School Raises Money for JDRF
In March, James Madison Elementary School’s Student Council held a fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JFRF). Together James Madison students, families and friends raised $2,295.27 for diabetes research! JDRF Sneakers were sold and are lining the hallways of the school. James Madison Elementary School earned 10% of the proceeds for school equipment that encourages healthy behaviors. The Student Council is planning to buy playground equipment with the money earned. Congratulations to all of our students who raised money and promoted healthy habits by participating in an all school Kids Walk To Cure Diabetes to Veteran’s Park on March 18th.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to our fundraiser!
