Jackson and A2 Schools’ Costume Dance
If you were out on the Tuesday before Halloween, you may have noticed some interesting creatures in the neighborhood. They were all heading to Jackson/A2 for the Costume Dance. There was a wonderful turn-out to this year's event. Those who attended danced to music by DJ Dan, played bingo and tried their luck at the cake walk. Many students had their picture taken by parent, Josh Silva with a festive background. All students who came had a chance to win one of six pumpkins donated by parent Dave DeYoung. Four of those were intricately carved with fantastic pictures. Those who won were thrilled. Treats were enjoyed in the cafeteria including fun flavored ice cream cones. For those who came with canned goods, thank you for helping those in our community who need a little extra support. The parent volunteers who gave their time during the event were so appreciated. We thank all of you who came and helped to make this a successful family fun night.
