Jackson and A2 Students Collect Coins for Humane Society
Jackson Elementary and A2 Charter Schools’ Student Council recently challenged their classmates to raise money for animal care at the Sheboygan County Humane Society.
Students in each classroom were encouraged to bring in their pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and dollars. Some went the extra mile and brought in five dollar bills, ten dollar bills and wow, even twenty dollar bills. The students’ generous donations filled sixteen milk jugs and totaled over $780.
Kristine Smith's 3rd graders donated the highest dollar amount, $168.59, and will receive a pizza party compliments of Student Council.
Cindy Pantel and Laura Pribbernow, student council advisors and school secretaries, were very impressed with the students’ kindness and generosity.
