Lincoln-Erdman Student Council Hosts 'Jungle Jam' fundraiser
Members of the Lincoln-Erdman Elementary School Student Council recently organized a fundraiser that was not only fun, but also raised money to sponsor an animal at the Milwaukee County Zoo. Students planned a dance, called the ‘Jungle Jam,’ and invited fellow students and their families. One dollar from each $2 admission fee was a donation to the Zoo. The remaining fees collected went to provide refreshments to the attendees.
The students felt animal care was an important cause and rallied others to help them raise funds the Milwaukee County Zoo. The event raised over $200!
At the ‘Jungle Jam,’ students showed off their own dance styles and also joined in the Macarena, Cha-Cha, Electric Slide, Chicken Dance, and the Limbo. Some people even pulled out old classics such as the Sprinkler and Break Dancing.
The Jungle Jam was a fun-filled family event in which kids and parents had an enjoyable time and pulled together for a wonderful organization.
