Sheboygan Public Education Foundation Recognizes “Friend of Education” Recipients
Each year the Sheboygan Public Education Foundation recognizes community members who have been a “Friend of Education” within our Sheboygan community. This year, the Foundation chose to recognize Sheboygan Area School District staff members Cheryl Fritsch (Business Office) and Georgine Mueller (Purchasing). Recipients were presented with a “Friend of Education” award at the Sheboygan Public Education Foundation Annual Meeting held November 9, 2011 at Pine Hills Country Club. Mrs. Fritsch and Mrs. Mueller were chosen due to their dedication in assisting the Foundation with the coordination of grants that the Foundation provides to the Sheboygan Area School District. To date, the Foundation has provided over $475,000 in funding to the Sheboygan Area School District and to the Sheboygan community.

The Sheboygan Public Education Foundation is a 501(c) 3 charitable foundation that raises funds to help support educational programming for the Sheboygan Area School District and within our Sheboygan community. In addition to providing grants for curriculum and technology, the Foundation donates school supplies to all SASD schools and administers a number of scholarships to graduating seniors.
