Horace Mann Halloween Dance Brings in Food and Fun
Staff and students of Horace Mann Middle School in Sheboygan helped create a positive atmosphere for a Halloween Dance on October 25. Students were let in free to the dance if they wore a costume, or if not, an admission was charged.  The admission price was a non-perishable food item or one dollar.  The food collected helped fill the school’s food pantry shelves.  Over $200 was collected, including concession sales. Student Council will use this money for many projects, including the new lighting for the dances. The highlight of the Halloween Dance was a dance contest with staff involvement. It was a great way to build school spirit and was a fun way to end the day of celebration.

Food collected at the Halloween party helped stock the Horace Mann food pantry.
