Wilson Elementary Student Wins Bike for Positive Behavior
Wilson School students recently had the opportunity to enter a drawing for a bicycle at the weekly PBIS assembly. PBIS or Positive Behavior Intervention Support acknowledges, celebrates, and rewards children for making good choices.
Students start the week with a Monday morning assemble, during which guidance counselor, Monica Bonestroo explains the focus of the week. Students receive good behavior slips from staff members which place in special containers for a chance to win prizes. Each week, students have the opportunity to win prizes for making good behavior choices. Through the generosity of a parent, principal Chad Renzelmann was able to offer a special prize of a bike this week. ![]() Students display posters showing lunch room behavior expectations. ![]() Dominick, Winner of the bicycle give away with principal Chad Renzelmann.
