Sheridan Elementary School Assembly Features the Milwaukee Wave
Sheridan Elementary School had a special presentation at an all school assembly recently. Two members of the Milwaukee Wave professional indoor soccer team visited the school for a 45 minute program of high-energy interaction among the players, students, and Sheridan staff. The players introduced soccer skills paired with a message to the students of being prepared, eating right, and living right. The students were given a firsthand look at what it takes to participate in a professional sport and what role education plays in it. Sheridan Elementary students in grades 1st-5th will be attending a Milwaukee Wave game on February 6th as a reward for positive behavior during the 2nd quarter.
