$600 donation to Grant School from Lakeland College Mortar Board Society
The Mortar Board Society at Lakeland College recently donated $600 to Grant Elementary School to buy non-fiction content area books for classrooms. Teachers will use these books to supplement the science and social studies curriculum in grades 4 and 5.
Mortar Board is a national honor society recognizing college seniors for superior achievement in scholarship, leadership and service. Lakeland College is a part of Mortar Board’s Gold Key chapter which strives to make a positive impact through community service. Officer’s of the group are President, Yang Vang and Vice President, Kayla Stevens. Mehraban Khodavandi is the adviser.  Sheboygan Area School District Press Release
