Wilson Fifth Graders Visit Sheboygan Marsh
Three fifth grade classrooms from Wilson Elementary School made a two day visit to the Sheboygan County Marsh the week of September 10-13 where they got hands-on experience in environmental studies and learned the role water and land play in the formation of our local landscape.
Students made observations of bogs, marshes, open water and land, then logged those observations. They followed up using scientific methods in the laboratory to observe microscopic evidence of the ongoing changes which occur in the wetlands environment.
